We caught an HBO documentary about the sequelae from Chernobyl, called Chernobyl Heart, which shows a lot of footage of genetically-damaged children in Belarus, Ukraine, etc. Specifically, they talk about how many children will die there, because they can't get a certain heart surgery to repair defects in the heart. I didn't realize it, but in the last few weeks, I slipped past 1000 entries in LJ on my blog.

In addition, I've had over 6000 responses to my posts, and I've commented in LJ over 14000 times.

I didn't realize I was so prolific.

As you can tell, I don't hover over the numbers very often; I actually missed the event...
