Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Last night, due to the not unexpected lack of my boss for our planned contract negotiation, my beloved dragged me not unwillingly to see Clerks II.

I've found things to like in all of Kevin Smith's films that I've seen, though they all are rather profane. This one is a case in point, dealing not with necrophilia, as did the original Clerks, but with "interspecies erotica", as well as people moving on with their lives.

Once again, I liked it. It's not "great" cinema, it's not classic, but it's solid film-making, and worth a look.

And, since they've already made their nut, you can wait until it comes out on DVD, if you don't want to spend the $9.
