So, I guess that the bachelor party went well. Apparently, this wasn't REALLY the bachelor party, but just the rehearsal for the bachelor party next Friday in Las Vegas. Unfortunately, I'll be working on Saturday, and I'll have to fly in overnight for the festivities, so I'll miss that particular avenue for debauchery. I gather that they will be reporting to the ladies that the second bachelor party will be devoted to D&D. So, food, drink, music and camaraderie was had until the wee hours of the morning; I would have been home sooner, but I was caught behind a pursuit going on on I-210 with over a dozen police cars and a helicopter. Luckily, when I went off on the 57, the chasee went east instead. Thank goodness.
While waiting for the bachelor party to meet me, I finished reading Osprey Campaign #66: Bosworth 1485: Last Charge of the Plantagenets, about the collapse of the War of the Roses. It covered an area of history of which I know only a little, so I enjoyed it.
