Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Yesterday, after I finished work, we spent a little time going to Best Buy to look for a possible replacement PDA, as my Tungsten T5 gave up the ghost, and I can't get it to break out of the loop it seems stuck in. We remain non-commital, but it seems likely that a Tungsten T/X is in the near future.

We followed that up by a Mexican meal, then off to watch the totality of disc 6 of Lost, Season Two. What in darnation????

This morning dawned with the hard drive on the computer failing, thereby losing me all the palm data, so my PDA will be fresh and pristine, unless the palm materials are saved in the My Documents file, which I don't believe they are. I could be wrong, of course. We'll just have to see what we find out, soon. Anyway, the computer is now in the shop, getting a new hard drive, as it was still under warranty...

Sigh.

This morning, I finished two books, the first being Lords of the North, an historical novel set in the Dark Ages in England. Adventurous, but he's done better. The second book was Blackadder: The Whole Damn Dynasty 1485 - 1917, which is, for the most part, a collection of the TV series' scripts. Amusing, but only worth it if you like the show.
