Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

My beloved spent some time early in the day at the post-Thanksgiving sales, and came home with some very inexpensive electronic items, thereby giving us things to do for over the weekend, setting them all up. It should all be good, though, as the printer is fried, and the DVD player in the living room is, at best, skittish, so replacing them is going to be a blessing.

I took a taste of the first of the Farscape novels, and backed away rapidly, as if faced by spitting cobra. I'm not sure that my reaction is primarily because I'm not a fan of the series, or if the author was just that bad. I'd be curious to hear what Farscape fans who've read the books think. In any case, these books are off to the used bookstore, unless someone out there wants 'em.

forestcats and I had a terrific lunch at a French/Italian restaurant in Rancho Cucamonga called Le Bellisimo. We're going to have to try the place for dinner at some point. Very good stuff.
