Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Plowing rapidly onward, I finished another book by C. L. Grace (or P. C. Doherty, as you like) in the same series, called The Eye of God. The protagonists from A Shrine of Murders are called upon by the King of England and his family to find a piece of jewelry that disappeared from a battlefield, and incidentally to find a murderer. Nicely written.

I then wasted a bit of time reading the comic, Starship Troopers: Damaged Justice: Part 2 #2. Ick.

Last night, I went to see Jigu!: Thunder Drums from China at the Beckman Auditorium at Cal Tech. Kodo is better, musically, but the panoply/costuming/choreography of this group was better. A Mouse Fairy Wedding, one of the pieces performed, was especially enchanting.

It's going to be a busy weekend; I might not even get to log on tomorrow...
