Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Yesterday, the third season collection of Deadwood was released, and Netflix got the first disk to us, so we complied by sitting down and watching the first episode on the disk. My goodness, I enjoy the hell out of the dialog on this show! Much deeper characterizations on this show; nothing here seems stereotypical.

It started, not surprisingly, in the morgue.

I never expected the recently dead to think after they'd passed on, but this one did. He first took out the guard, who then wandered over to the security office of the hospital, and soon they were all infected.

They recruited the whole ER waiting room, and then blocked off the exits. Some are patrolling the perimeter, to stop folks from getting out the windows.

Luckily, many of the patients are bed-ridden, so, recruited, they can't do much to the rest of us. However, it must be horrifying to be tied down in bed as the zombies approach...

I'm screwed because my sword is at home. Right now, I've taken a trapeze off an amputee's bed, and I'm standing on the roof of the hospital, knocking them off as they try to climb up the last bit. I keep seeing helicopters flying by, though there's this one asshole from Channel 23 who is hovering overhead watching me fight them off.

I'm getting tired; it's hot up here, and I have no water.

I think I'm getting dizzy...
