Dead Dog Cat

We're home, once again; not all the unpacking has been performed, but we're getting there.

While off at my Mom's, I watched Quentin Tarentino's Reservoir Dogs again, which is still an interesting manipulation of the cops & robbers genre.

I will be processing for a while about what's transpired this last ten days or so, so don't be surprised if I post a lot of musing in the upcoming weeks.

Over the last ten days, I read three books:

First was a graphic novel, Usagi Yojimbo Book 21: The Mother of Mountains, which continues several threads from previous books, but works reasonably well as a stand-alone, assuming that you are willing to accept a Japan with animals as the inhabitants rather than humans.

Second was The Assassin's Riddle, another Paul Harding (Paul Doherty) book set in London in the late 1300s, with several killings in the Chancery of the Green Wax. Another good one.

Lastly was Fiasco: A History of Hollywood's Iconic Flops, which endeavored to explain the source of the ruination of certain films. Most of them, I've never seen, but the read was interesting.

Looks like that Nerd Score entry I made a few days back is one of those that modifies itself every now and then. That being so, I deleted the post; others out there who copied it from me might want to consider doing the same.

Originally it scored me at 97%, but then dropped to 26% today, so off it goes.
