Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

The Cavin kids are now safely with their grandmother, and forestcats is safely home; the destruction in the house that they wrought is slowly being repaired. Fun.

I caught up on one of the Pirate Master episodes online. I've never watched a TV show via computer before. It felt, well, modern? Maybe even revolutionary? Apparently, though the network has pulled the show from TV, it'll go through its run online.

We finally finished the first disk of season three of The Sopranos; we've been pretty spotty about watching Netflix material since my father's death. I'd like to clear some things out; hopefully there'll be some time to watch things in the next week or so.

I'm beginning to get a feel for the end of the tunnel with respect to the prodigious literary output of Paul Doherty; I have two more noms de plume to deal with, two new book en route via Amazon.co.uk, and one more book in the series I'm presently dealing with, and then I'll have only new releases to pursue. I've been catching up now for a few years. My goodness, he's prolific.

Anyway, yesterday I finished Doherty book, The Field of Blood, another book about a friar and the coroner of London in 1380, and a series of murders. Nice relationships, nice feel for the town.
