Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Another book from my trip to Minnesota is finished, this one being The Jennifer Morgue by Charles Stross. It's a sequel/continuation of The Atrocity Archives, which I enjoyed as well. It deals with a secret agency in the British government that defends humanity from Lovecraftian monsters and other occult invasions. This one also deals with the mythology of James Bond in a very interesting way. I'd recommend it.

On the comic book front, I read last week two more; the first was Y: The Last Man #58, which was a bit of a shock, and then Doktor Sleepless #2, which delves deeper into the background that Ellis is setting up in the 'zine. Both pretty good.

I'm spending most of my free time, though, on studying/practicing my Torah portion for tomorrow. Brain burn sets in.
