Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Yesterday, of course, was Halloween, one of the most celebrated of holidays in this household, and for the first time in years, I managed to get home before dark, so as to be here for most of the trick-or-treating. It was a moderate year, not as busy as some in the past, but not the worst, either. Our last visitors were in just before 9PM. While awaiting the revellers, we watched The Rocky Horror Picture Show on DVD, with the audience commentaries. Cute.

We followed that with a bit of ST:TAS, and then three episodes of The Sopranos from season four, disc two. Cool. This was the replacement disc from Netflix, and it arrived quickly. Kudos to that company's customer service arrangements.

I did read a couple of comic books in the last several hours, including Jack of Fables #16, which is clearly a Halloween issue, and managed to hit the stands just in time, and also Crossing Midnight #12, which continues to be interesting.
