Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Late last night, I finished another non-fiction book. I had purchased this trade paperback a while back, intending to read it, but when I heard that it was coming out soon as a new Tom Hanks film, I pulled the book out of the stack and read it earlier than I'd originally intended. The book is Charlie Wilson's War, and it's about a Congressman, a CIA agent, and the war between the USSR and the Afghans. Very accessible language; a good read.

I did a quick turn around Borders, last night after work, and found that they did, indeed, have copies of the first, live-action Discworld novel, Hogfather; it's three hours and more, and it's brilliant. Highly recommended.
