Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

The brushfires up near Mount Baldy had been put out, and then yesterday a new brushfire broke out in Pomona, to our west, and was blown into Carbon Canyon by the intense Santa Ana winds. These blow out of the desert and bring pretty nasty dry heat; the temperature here was 105 degrees F yesterday, and might be worse today. Lovely. Luckily, the smoke was blowing towards the city, rather than back over our house, elst it would have been intolerable here.

Oh, and last night we worked our way through three more episodes of season one Jericho. I'm afraid it's becoming fairly predictable. I'm pretty sure I know what's going to happen in the next episode. *Sigh*.
