Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

I spent quite a bit of time, today, in between laundry duties, and after my hospital rounds, reading Dudley Pope non-fiction book, At 12 Mr. Byng Was Shot, which talks about shooting a British Admiral for cowardice at the start of the Seven Years War. Undeservedly, especially in light of the handicaps that the government in power had tied him with. In any case, all I read was the history of the event, but not of the trial or the execution. I just didn't want to get that depressed at the stupidity and selfishness of politicians just now.
