Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

I finished reading a small stack of comics, mostly because I finally got a missing book to start up a series.

First, I ended up with another disappointing issue of Jack of Fables #31; I've told the store to stop pulling this book for me.

Then, there's another series by Warren Ellis, called No Hero which is about a team of superheroes made that way by a manipulated hallucinogen that modifies them and gives them powers, though not invulnerability. Seems to be going in a very interesting direction. I read issues #1, 2 & 3 of it, and I'll follow it longer yet, even given my relative lack of interest in superhero comics.
Dead Dog Cat

#12, 13

I finished two Richard Brautigan books today, the first being Revenge of the Lawn, a disjoint, odd short story collection, and the second being So the Wind Won't Blow It All Away, a strange tale about a pond, and shooting at rotten apples.

I gave up on one of his books as well, this one being The Abortion; I just couldn't generate enough interest in it to keep reading.
