After a quick stop at the library to drop off one book, and pick up another that I'd requested online, we got ourselves together for a game of Rolemaster. We haven't played since last year, due to work schedules, family issues, and similar problems, but at the Carnivore's Feast, Jeff was pressuring me, and I left setting a date up to forestcats, who decided that we could do it yesterday. In the end, we had six players, running eight characters, and it was fun. It looks like the next game day won't be until July, though. We'll see about it, later.

forestcats recommended that we make a road trip to see the shuttle land, but I'm still too burned out, and still need to get a haircut; it's probably three weeks too late, already, and I won't be able to go again until another two weeks, so I have to say no.

We have already seen a shuttle launch, and the 747 transporting a shuttle, and once we were underneath for a sonic boom as the shuttle came in at Edwards while sitting at a cat show, so it's not like we haven't been shuttle fans.

But I admit that if we had enough time, I would like to go...

*sigh*; not enough time for everything...

A number of you out there have already gotten Dreamwidth accounts. Until sekl gave me an invite code, I didn't pay much attention to who you all were, but now that I have an account, I'd like to connect with you, so if you have such an account, and I haven't gotten to you yet, please let me know your handle on Dreamwidth.

Thanks.

It's been busy, for a lazy day, what with a little laundry, getting a haircut, finding a piece of tech at Radio Shack so I just have to switch between the PS2 and the Wii on the TV, instead of pulling and replacing plugs back and forth, getting new kickaround shoes, and having my first bowl of Pho, ever. But I did spend a half hour in the hammock, and I've read a bit, so how bad could it be?

More laziness tomorrow. Maybe.

Oh, and forestcats request that we go see the shuttle launch came a bit too late to watch; it landed about twenty minutes before she mentioned it to me, so, so much for that opportunity.

Oh, well.

As the evening progressed, I pulled out the last of the fresh bread that forestcats baked for the game, yesterday, and had it for supper; then we went to see Star Trek again. This time, I actually saw the tribble in the cage. I still haven't seen anything that looks like R2D2, which is supposedly in the film someplace. I'm not convinced that the traffic cop is a robot; I think it's more likely that it's a human wearing a face guard, considering the speed that sky bike seems capable of.
