Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Home late from work, tonight; fairly busy day.

After some chores, I sat down in front of the computer, and tried out the movie streaming service from Netflix. I figured on watching something that forestcats probably wouldn't have any interest in seeing, so I put on Volcano, of which I expected little. The film exceeded my expectations, though it was quite formulaic. For those of you unaware, it postulates a volcano erupting in Central Los Angeles. Possible, I suppose; I mean, we are in the Pacific Rim of Fire, but I don't think it would occur without warning. Anyway, better than I thought it would be but a bad picture, anyway. For a bad picture, pretty good...

Well, you know what I mean.

I might just try this service out a few more times this weekend.

Oh, and the selection of what they can show on the screen is pretty limited. Out of some 480+ on my queue, I think we have 75, give or take a couple.

So, home from work, as expected, there was a disc from Netflix for the last episodes of season two of ST:DS9, which I promptly watched, and which will be winging their way to the Netflix warehouse tomorrow. The last episode was particularly engaging; possibly the best of the two seasons so far. I have but vague recollections of where they go from here...
