I wandered the whole day, yesterday, decked out in a marvelous wizard's robe and hat, as produced by my beloved forestcats at the convention. I even wore it across the street to have lunch at Fatburger! I had the chance to listen to a lecture on the artwork of the Discworld, and to hear PTerry speak on several matters. We also attended the Masquerade, and there were a number of witty items, some with masterful technique. forestcats has posted several of PTerry's speeches on her YouTube page, for those interested.
While waiting for various activities at the convention, I finished reading another book, this one being Mark Kurlansky's 1968, a tale of that year in history, with background discussions as to the runup to each event of the year. Quite an interesting read!
