Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Yesterday, I stepped out the door to drive to work to discover that the car wouldn't start. Delightful. Just the way to start the truncated week. Luckily, we still had the rental car, so mine is in the shop right now.

I have to admit that it's hard to get back to work from the warm fuzzy feelings of the convention. Good people, good conversation, good food, good times.

Home again, yesterday morning, I tried to get into a library book, called Gravity by Tess Gerritsen, but it just wouldn't gel for me. Back to the library with you.

We've managed to catch up with the materials DVRed while we were gone; now to toy with the Netflix stash!

Oh, for those of you out there that have any interest in Sir Terrence Pratchett, O.B.E., and in what he might have to say, I recommend that you go look on YouTube, under the username forestcats, to see several videos of him speaking several times during last weekend. Good stuff there.
