Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Yesterday, I got out the door fairly early (for a Sunday) so as to be done early enough to help my wife with the quilt show takedown. I managed to get there well before 2PM, which was pretty good. I prowled the show and looked at the dealers; didn't see much to interest me in the dealers, but the artwork on these quilts was a breathtaking as it has been for the last decade or more that we've been doing this work. Honestly, some of these quilts are masterpieces in the truest sense. The Road to California Show is well-worth a viewing, every year. Anyway, we gathered, we assaulted the site as the show closed, and we had it down in less than an hour; as is usual, we waited to help out with one thing or another, and in the end spent two hours there.

Afterwards, several of our friends who'd helped with the takedown stopped at our house for some pizza and chat, which was very nice.

Then, in the early evening, we had a producers' meeting for Dungeonmaster at our place, and there was a lot of issues that were dealt with in a very creative and positive atmosphere. I predict that the next couple of seasons will have some stepped up production values to make this more fun than a barrel of monkeys. Or goblins, for that matter.

It's raining right now; hopefully by the time I'm done dressing it'll calm down and my drive won't be compromised.
