Dead Dog Cat

It was a gray day, here, yesterday, cool, but no rain.

Work was busy, so that's good.

Once home, I heated up the grill, and even in this weather, it heated up quickly and reached nice high temperature. Then, buffalo ribeye for dinner!

Among other tidbits (like, say, laundry), we finished another disc via Netflix of The Mentalist season three.

And then, out like a light.

Not bad for a night on the beeper.

After several days of lugging the book around, I finished reading Cheesemonger: A Life on the Wedge by Gordon Edgar. Honestly, I found this very readable; I'd have finished it much faster, but I carry it with me around at work, and work has been very busy.

The author talks about his political philosophy, what to look for in cheese, life in SF, personalities in the cheese world and amongst his customers, and a number of other topics. It's informative, and written in a very accessible manner. Good book.
