Out to dinner we went; just spontaneously. We ended up at a sushi bar close to home that we've never tried. The place used to be a Sizzler, and it's still set up that way. There were almost no seats at the "bar", so we ended up at the table. The place has all-you-can-eat, and it's cheaper to go that route. We were pleasantly surprised with the food quality. The place was fairly well-filled; the parking lot was nearly full, and folks appeared to be having a good time. I'd recommend Sake2Me, and I expect we'll be back, sometime.

Our friends, the Larkins, are going to be in Pasadena for the next several days, so I hope to be able to see them, though I'm on call, and that may trump my desire to visit. We'll see how thing shake out.

Yesterday, around 11:30 AM, I was driving in a residential district of Rancho Cucamonga; sun was shining. Wandering in the street, prowling for food, was a coyote. I've seen them before in the area, usually in wilder zones, or at least a few blocks from wilderness, but never this far down, and never in full daylight (dawn, dusk, fog, nighttime, yes, but not midday). It's a wild world we live in...
