Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Last evening was the last show of this season of Dungeonmaster, though we will be having a meeting two weeks hence to start hashing out the details of our next season. One of the producers, and one of the tech people will be moving on, which will certainly change the tenor of the show (I mean, everyone puts their mark on it, and when one person leaves, the show loses that particular idiom. OTOH, with new cast, new vistas open up, too!). The sadness is tinged with excitement to see how it will all work out. forestcats made the two of them their very own cloaks, which I'm sure will get use from both. At least two other folks will also be moving on; one woman is moving to Austin, for example. Hopefully, when she visits back here, we can persuade her to participate, occasionally.

What with the rain, we got home fairly late, so I'm a bit punchy this morning. I shall take things slowly...but that'll mean getting home really late tonight. *Sigh*.

During the day, yesterday, I finished reading a little book by Terry Pratchett, called The World of Poo. It's a kiddy book set in Ankh-Morpork, the largest city on the Discworld; a young man with connections learns all about stool, and its uses. Cute. Not disgusting, mostly.
