Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

Once again, I finished a book yesterday, this one being:

Osprey Campaign #15: Waterloo 1815: The Birth of Modern Europe

This deals with the entire campaign of Napoleon attempting to regain his position in Europe, with especial attention to the battles. The best thing about these books are their graphics; in this case there's maps and plates of soldiers' uniforms. Pretty good.

Still coughing. Ack.

Yesterday, I'd intended to do some yard work. In the end, I just couldn't, at least not until the end of the day. I'm hoarse, and coughing a lot. Eyes are burning and running. It's all allergy; antibiotics won't help.

In the early evening, I did get out and cut down some shoots from the trees, to keep them under control. I also helped unload horse and chicken feed from the truck to the barn; then later, I did cut up a few potatoes for feeding the homeless this morning.

Still, I'm not up to much today. I really will have to take it easy; I have to be functional tomorrow.
