In between various activities yesterday, I finished a few more books.

First was Osprey Men-at-Arms #7: Napoleon’s Egyptian Campaigns 1798 – 1801, again, an older work by this group, that details the forces on both sides during the French invasion of the Eastern end of the Mediterranean. Pretty good read, especially if you have no background in it.

Next was Osprey Men-at-Arms #431: Britain’s Secret War: The Indonesian Confrontation 1962 - 66, a war about which I had no knowledge. American media was so busy documenting the run-up to the Vietnam War that this was essentially missed, or at least as far as I ever heard. I found this book quite intriguing.

Then before I fell asleep I finished Starfist Book V: Technokill. This is another military SF; a long-running series. Mental bubblegum, in this particular case.

In some ways, yesterday was a lazy day, but not entirely. I got a number of little things done, from several loads of laundry, to streaming The Expendables 2 (a piece of garbage that I'm glad I didn't pay to see in the theaters) to doing some cleanup, here and there. All-in-all, a good day.
