Dead Dog Cat

(no subject)

There was a bit of available time yesterday, so I managed to get a couple of books done.

First was Osprey Campaign #28: New Orleans 1815: Andrew Jackson Crushes the British, which was a pretty good read. I found the title slightly odd, as the publisher is British; I wouldn't have expected them to be so blunt in the title...

Next was Osprey Elite #147: Irish Regiments in the World Wars, again, a slightly odd title, in that the British publisher would consider the Irish elite. (Or, the Scots, for that matter, but I digress). Loads of detailed information about the various units, from Guards formations to militias. Good data, pretty well presented.
