Anyway, some time ago I watched via Netflix streaming a movie Stand Up Guys, a gangster film in the same sense that The Expendables is a war picture...i.e. several older actors play roles that they were known for where the old guys show the young guys what for. Not the greatest film I've ever seen, but mildly amusing.
Last evening we finally watched The Wolverine. For some reason, the disc wouldn't play in our Blu-Ray deck, but would in my laptop, so that's how we did it. I was disappointed, except for the scene in the middle of the credits which hints at the next X-men movie.
We also watched Monsters University, a very credible Pixar flick. I liked it better than Monsters, Inc., to be honest. It's worth seeing.
At one point last evening, my beloved was in a creative mood, and she pulled out fillo dough, sugar, and cinnamon, and next thing you know, she's got some overwhelmingly delicious and addictive desserts. Not exactly cookies, certainly not brownies, and not baklava either. Whatever they were, they were divine! I'm still full from them, 14 hours later...
