Work, work, work.

Office yesterday morning, followed by hospitals. Today hospitals followed by nursing homes.

Once home, i stayed there, rather than try to go to a bar to celebrate a birthday. Sorry, Bradd, but happy birthday anyway.

However, we did watch the remainder of disc one, season four of Downton Abbey. We also finished all of season two of House of Cards via Netflix streaming. Both very good!

This morning, I finished reading a new comic; Tales of Honor #1. It's the first foray into putting the Honor Harrington series into a comic book. I like the artwork while the story mixes two of the novels. I gather that there's a production company looking to put the saga into movies, which could be very cool. I'll be watching this one closely.

I have to admit to some visual dissonance looking at the comics. My visual sense of the Honorverse has been strongly influenced by the artwork of Dave Mattingly and thomasthecat (among several others). This...seems somewhat off-tone.

Yes, the uniforms set a different tone, truthfully. I like the spaceship/orbital platform art, though.

This ain't no party, this ain't no disco...
