Friday night, though, we met with members of the Havurah. We didn't have enough in attendance for services, but we did share a potluck meal, and some wonderful conversation that kept us chatting until rather late. Very nice! Thanks, Molly, for hosting!
Once I got home, and my wife returned from Amy's Farm, I put on a Netflix disc of The Dallas Buyers Club; I remembered those days and how medical personnel would react to patients with AIDS. It reminded of how long it's been since I last made a diagnosis of HIV positivity, and how long it's been since one of my patients died of AIDS. We've come a long way in the last thirty years...
