To vary a bit the things I've been reading, yesterday I finished Food Lovers' Guide to Los Angeles, which gives lists geographically across the vast LA area of various restaurants and other food-related places or events. I've been to some of the listed restaurants, and they are pretty good in each case; some of the other food-related places, trucks or events as well. It seems like a pretty good list, and I've taken several recommendations down for future exploration. Pretty solidly good book, and it's a recent publication, too, so not particularly out-of-date. Worth it for locals, possibly worth a look for those who'll be visiting fairly soon. Not particularly useful for a resident of Greenland not expecting to travel in this decade.
