What with one thing or another, I didn't get this post up. Sorry.

A few days back, I finished reading Osprey Command #7: Robert E. Lee, a short review of his life. The author finds fault in a couple of his failures, but generally he acquitted himself brilliantly as a general for the South in the American Civil War. Not a bad overview.
