What a day, yesterday!

To start off, my beloved with my thumbfingered help captured and boxed the five turkeys from under the trampoline. She then took them into town to get them dressed for their special event coming up Thursday. The largest one, over 30# weight, went to a friend who has a large family to feed; the smallest (about 8 and a half pounds) to a friend who has a small family to feed. We froze one for future use, and two are in the refrigerator awaiting their brining.

While she was off at the butcher's shop, I did some shopping for my spiced pecans that I traditionally make for this holiday. Once home, I got to work; it takes a Loooooooonnnnnnnggggg time to make the batches. I made about three pounds of the stuff, and it's in hiding because brushette has in the past eaten all that I make.

While that was finishing up, our friend Judy, who has a company that brings animals to Hollywood for various purposes, picked up Oliver, the red and white kitten who a friend rescued, and we've been socializing. Judy will be taking the kitten up to San Jose to his forever home with sekl. The house is quieter now. (*sniffle*).

Once I'd finished my cooking, timmy_ritz and his fiance Helen stopped by. We all went out to the Lobster Grill to eat and chat (No, I didn't have lobster, I had swordfish. So there.) and it was a really nice time. I look forward to doing it again sometime soon.

Once I'm done online, it's time once again to get ready for Dungeonmaster; the climax show for this season is today, with the Hall of Heroes show in two weeks before the holiday hiatus. Be there!

(Speak, or forever hold your peace)
