I recently mentioned reading a graphic novel and thought I'd go a get the sequel; had a moment, picked it up and last night I finished reading Phonogram: The Singles Club, which for no reason that I can exactly name, I liked better than the first. It goes over and over the same events in the same nightclub from the viewpoint of different people which reminded me of a movie by Akira Kurosawa except that it didn't involve a murder. Very interesting. I especially liked the portion where they highlighted the DJ team. I have to ask a certain DJ of my acquaintance what he thinks of these books, if he's even aware of them...?
