I picked up my wife, and we made stops for gifts for the nieces and nephew, as well as picking up Krispy Kreme doughnuts as our contribution to the Hanukkah brunch at my mother's. Traffic was as delightful as you'd expect, but we finally got there.
I had a good time hanging with my sister's kids, as usual. The doughnuts were a big hit. Apparently there are few or no Krispy Kreme places left in the San Fernando Valley, or at least no where near my family, so they gobbled up most of them right off. Nice.
Finally, we had to head home for equine feeding. Traffic on the way back was twice as bad as on the way there, who knows why?
In the evening, we cleared out some Netflix stuff, including watching Maleficent which I found surprisingly good. Bravo!
I think today is going to be mostly devoted to a few details...like laundry, grocery shopping, and a quick visit to the hospital for one patient. And so it goes...
