It was quite the day, yesterday, in that it was once again time to take down the Road to California Quilt Show, something that we do annually for a very long time. It was nice to hang with the volunteers again, and our work was done quickly and efficiently. Following our normal duties, we then assisted the special display chairperson with some of her quilts, and then left for a well-deserved meal.
Being that I was on call yesterday, I didn't get to the show until just before we started working, so I had only a few moments to prowl the aisles to look at the artwork. Even so, there were some astonishingly beautiful quilts to see. Well worth the entry fee!
