A couple of days back, I finished reading Osprey Vanguard #28: The 6th Panzer Division 1937 - 45. This is an old book from that publisher, and I'm pretty sure it's out-of-print. It's a detailed history of one specific German division from WWII, from it's first working up until the surrender. Although I enjoy most of the Osprey titles I read, this one didn't really come together for me. I suspect that might be why this particular line of their books has been terminated in favor of the New Vanguard line.

Given all the Osprey books you read, I'm surprised I haven't recommended this one, but you may be interested in checking out Osprey Fortress #53: Defending Space: US Anti-Satellite Warfare and Space Weaponry. It contains information on systems the US actually built and deployed (e.g. the ASM-135 ASAT missile, launched from the F-15) and ones that were designed but not produced (e.g. the X-20 Dyna-Soar).

IIRC, I read that before FB. I'm pretty sure I posted about it on LJ some time ago.
