I slowly catch up with authors whose work I enjoy who had published in the last eighteen months or so. In this case I finished reading Steven Saylor's book, Raiders of the Nile; I've been reading his series of books about Gordianus the Finder from ancient Rome for some time. This is another prequel novel, where he's been on his tour of the Mediterranean lands to see the Seven Wonders of the World, and he gets involved in stealing the sarcophagus of Alexander the Great. Very good book; good series overall.

After that I pulled out Osprey Raid #: The Cabanatuan Prison Raid: The Philippines 1945, a book about the efforts to recapture Allied soldiers who'd survived the Bataan Death March. Not bad; not one of my favorite Osprey books.
