Since the heat here in SoCal limited what I was willing to do, yesterday, I blazed my way through another book. This one was The Portable Door by Tom Holt. This a bit of humorous fantasy, dealing with a man and woman newly hired by a firm whose business they do not understand and how they found out everything. One of his better works, IMHO. I hate to say much more about it, for fear of significant spoilers. Recommended.
