Last weekend was Dorsai Thing, the second time this event was held in the Los Angeles Area. It's an opportunity for members of the Dorsai Irregulars to get together, along with their invited friends. We've gone to a few, but since these happen in March and usually in the MidWest, it's often difficult for me to get off to go. Luckily this one fell right into a weekend that I wasn't on call.

We opened by me taking Friday off, and we settled into the hotel in Marina del Rey (sp?). We then met up with Bob and Anne, taking them via Uber out for lunch at Umami Burger in Santa Monica. Delicious! Then we hung around, chatting with folks that we knew from before, and folks we didn't. We had a lovely time, and it was restful. Home Sunday...
