First of all, once we'd packed out (and had two breakfasts...we were invited early to meet up to eat and chat with Tatianna, and then later met the newlyweds and many of their family members to eat yet again), we drove to my mother's to surprise her. The venue was only a few miles from her house. Unfortunately, she was out shopping with a friend (on Easter???), so we left her the flowers from the table arrangement at the reception, and I called her home phone from my cell phone from her kitchen to let her know we'd been by.
Following that, we drove to NoHo. It turns out that Sunday was the birthday of our friend Bonnie Gordon and her BF Sean had called for a surprise birthday brunch at a restaurant there. Keeping count? Yes, that's three breakfasts. As my wife said, we were doing that hobbit thing... Anyway, she was completely surprised and delighted. Apparently, she rarely celebrates her birthday, so this was unexpected in any way. A lovely time.
After that we drove home. In the evening, we finished up season four of House of Cards. They are evil people.
