The first book I've finished since I last posted about it was Osprey Fortress #15: Germany's West Wall: The Siegfried Line. I found the information about the conflict between the construction authority and the military interesting, and the fact that the structures were poorly planned gave me pause. Interesting read.
Next, I read The Spellmans Strike Again by (IIRC) Lisa Lutz. This is I think the fourth book in the series about a female private investigator in San Francisco; the stories deal with several minor mysteries in each one, but the fun is the family interactions. I've really loved this series; I think I have two more books in it, and it might have ended there. We'll see.
Then, Osprey Men-At-Arms #14: The English Civil War, not entirely boring.
Next was Border Dogs, a short story prequel to the Seal Team 666 series that I'm about to start. This anti-occult/monster combat team takes on chupacabras on the Mexican border.
Then it was Osprey Campaign #10: First Bull Run 1861: The South's First Victory, the tale of the first major battle of the American Civil War, the one that folks from Washington, DC, went out to picnic and watch. Wild.
So on to more books!
