Sunday we spent building a small shed to hold garden tools as well as party materials. We then dragged a water trough that hasn't held water in years away from the tack room wall so that we have a space for the outdoor bar that we have from the old Axelsen apartment. That should be in place before Thanksgiving. Kneeling on cement in a drizzle was just a delight. The shed is built now, and looks good.
Dog walking was done. Not as much as the younger, sprier dogs would have wanted of course.
Last night we had a lovely time hanging with several friends in honor of one birthday and the anniversary of another's arrival in the US. Terrific conversation over the meal!
Right now, sekl and her boys are staying with us; they've gone to see Universal Studios with particular attention to the Harry Potter stuff, so I look forward to their tales.
Today I'm going to spend making batches of my spiced pecans, so I should be off...
