I finished, last night, another Terry Pratchett novel, this one being the new one, Making Money, which follows the adventures of the protagonist of his book Going Postal, which I enjoyed immensely, when said protagonist is sent to deal with the Royal Mint of Ankh-Morpork. This book, though somewhat timely, really didn't satisfy me all that much. It had its funny moments, and was worth reading, but I didn't enjoy it as much as the same author's previously mentioned novel, or his book Small Gods.
Also, last night, I watched the rest of the second disk of ST:TNG seventh season. I'm still not all that impressed. Sigh.
Finished the evening off with the film The Wind that Shakes the Barley, a historical piece about the Irish breakaway from the British Empire. I was struck by how similar it was to films about the fight for the ousting of the British from Palestine. Or, for that matter, the film In the Name of the Father.
