So, after one of my best workdays in the office yet, forestcats and I went out to the movie theater at Ontario Mills to see Elizabeth: The Golden Age. My feeling about the film was "eh!". I don't claim to be an expert in the era, but it seemed to me to be ... limited in its historicity. The Armada wasn't just defeated by combat off the English coast, for example, but was driven onto the rocks by the weather, but if you watch this film, you get the impression that one fireship from Sir Walter Raleigh defeated the whole kit and kaboodle. A major so-so.
