Over the last couple of days, for the most part we've been home, exceptions being a quick run to some stores, where we ran into a physician with whom I worked, and his relatively new second wife; we also went to Saturday morning services with our Havurah.

Aside from deep cleaning projects, and some yardwork, we played a litte bit of foosball; my wife gained an old setup via freecycle. It'll be out there in the backyard for anyone who wants to play with it in the future.

We also watched some DVDs, well after dark. These included three episodes of season one Jericho, the only disk going back to Netflix; Pitch Black, which we'd never before seen; The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury, again, which we'd never seen, and finally The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, a spoof which forestcats dearly loves. Outrageously tongue-in-cheek.

Yesterday morning, on getting downstairs, I found a dead bird on the kitchen table (perhaps that's what's prompting the deep cleaning? Naw.). Obviously, Wesley, our indoor/outdoor cat, is making sure that we have the occasional nice tidbit so we don't starve. I bet you didn't know that cats were creatures who are willing to share, did you?
