A day of rest, yesterday, to recuperate from the previous day's party. I lazed about, reading, and we also watched some of the Netflix materials. I finished the disc of ST:DS9 with a somewhat less boring item dealing with Dax, and then forestcats and I watched The Water Horse, which is Scotland's answer to Free Willy, while having a much better backstory. I'd call it pretty cute, and worth a watch.

I did manage to finish one pamphlet, called How to Make Quality Liqueurs & Cordials at Home, which had a couple of interesting recipes; also, last night before turning in, I finished reading another Napoleonic-era novel of fighting sail by Richard Woodman, called The Shadow of the Eagle, which is something like the 13th book of the series, and was nearly buried under the weight of all that prior material; I haven't picked up a book by this author in some years, and it was something of a burden, trying to remember all that had gone before, without the stories mixing with works by other authors on similar topics. Other than that, it was a good read.
