Over the last couple of days, I've finished several comic books:
First was Jack of Fables #25. It doesn't seem to be going in a direction I'm enjoying. Bad sign.
Then Doktor Sleepless #8. Another bad direction. I'm uncertain about this.
Then DMZ #34. An election. Such timing. I'm looking forward to seeing where this goes.
Then Gravel #4. Combat magic. 'Nuff said.
Then New Universal: Conqueror, a one-shot. No Warren Ellis in this one. Ick.

Is DMZ the book about New York being a war zone? I remember reading about it briefly in Wizard, but I haven't seen it at any local comic shops. Yes, it is, and it's pretty good. The early issues have come out in TPB, so you ought to be able to find that...
