I've been an SF fan since I was 8 years old, and that's a while ago, but I've never read any of Phillip K. Dick's works before, so I had the library scare up a copy of The Man in the High Castle, and I finished it a day or so ago.
Nice. It predates a lot of the alternate history novels, but seems to get the feel of the possibilities down very well. Worth reading, indeed, and I'm glad I finally have done.
