I need a down day; fatigue was really hitting me hard by mid-week, last week.
So, this weekend'll be at home; I'm doing laundry, and I'm trying to finally clear away the boxes of accumulated stuff that covered the floor in the computer room, after we moved it all back in from this summer's work in there. So far, since about seven AM today, I've emptied two and a half boxes, with maybe eight or nine to go. Admittedly, I'm screwing around online, and with iTunes, at the same time, so I won't say that all the time's been involved in cleaning, but much of it has.
I admit to a feeling of accomplishment with each box completed. The trash is about to overflow here; many items have been moved to other rooms/drawers/places where they join other items of similar use so that we don't have to go replace what we already have...
Sweetheartwhale is having me do a huge dejunk at the moment mainly cos she is embarassed at the house if we have the RSPCA round to assess if the house is suitable for a rescue kitten
Already got 6 bags of books to charity shop lying around in the front room.

I have approximately four boxes of books to go out, but some of them have been waylaid by forestcats
to try to sell on Ebay; she's managed to sell some, but not all, by any stretch...
You're tired.....so you're going to do work all weekend?
You need a long nap.
Oddly enough, this work energized me. I ought to get more sleep, though, just as you said.
The trash is about to overflow here
I know this is going to happen when I start setting up my room in ernest.
The trashcan in here is now on its third overflow since the project started. Three boxes remain. If I have the energy, there's two pieces of artwork to put up on the walls.
Artwork is good, even in caves.
I want to get the pieces my Dad did and gave me up.
I've gotta figure a cheap curtain rod idea.
One of my 'projects' is to sew curtains for the apartment.
When I had my second apartment in Chicago, we put up translucent plastic over the windows with duct tape. That's a pretty cheap window treatment...
all these years I never thought of that one
what a spiffy way to allow light w/o losing privacy
(unless you're right up on the plastic)
It also helped, more or less, keeping the winter cold out, keeping that airspace a dead zone, with no airflow at all.
I love that you do laundry. Forestcats must be so proud~!
Well, there's still towels to be done, though we have plenty of spares; there's also some items that need to be dry cleaned, including some faire garb that's been awaiting a chance to get cleaned for a very long time.
So long as I'm not around it is a good thing. I'm all about quick and efficient, and he just seems to get into the process. Put one shirt on a hanger, move it to the closet, put another shirt on a hanger put it up in the closet... I prefer bring a bunch of hangers to the laundry. hang everything, divide into separate groups and hang all of them at one time. People are just different, the job gets done and I need to learn to keep quiet LOL/.
I rarely suggest that you quiet down...rarely...
