While my beloved was off feeding the homeless eggs and biscuits, I unloaded the truck of yesterday's wood purchases; then I set up a table near the upcoming placement of the raised garden beds, and lugged the circular saw out there along with the power drill. Dragged the extension cord; cleared the site of trash; picked up and delivered odd bits of garbage to the trash bins.
So, when she got home, we were able to quickly cut the wood to size, and set up the two beds, repairing an older bed at the same time.
We took a break to get some lunch at Chipotle's, and then some grocery shopping. I dozed off for a bit, and then later we finished the raised beds, and pulled trash out of another bed that needs some more work/repairs to be useable.
And what a beautiful day to be out working in the garden! I doubt that the temperatures rose above seventy-two; sunny and breezy. Terrific. If the weather is similar on the day of Carnivore's Feast, it'll be a spectacular day for a BBQ...
